These Italian Nachos are NOT your typical nacho dish. Instead, these are made with egg roll wrappers and then topped with delicious sausage, alfredo sauce, and vegetables.
Move over beloved Mexican food and hello nachos. Not just any nachos, Italian Nachos. This dish just moved up into my Top 5 things that I like to eat. I am that serious about these babies. I never even thought about making chips out of egg roll wrappers!
A couple of weeks ago, I was dining with some friends at a local restaurant, and one of them happened to order italian nachos. Fortunately, the girl was kind enough to share her appetizer/dinner with the rest of the table. However, after that first bite, I knew that I WOULD be recreating these nachos at home.
You may ask how I recreate a restaurant recipe at home. Honestly, all I do is go to their website and see if they list all the ingredients in the dish, and then it is up to me on how I want to put it all together. It’s even better when you have most of the ingredients already in your refrigerator.
These Italian nachos are perfect for a family night dinner or if you are having guests over and want to impress them with some fancy nachos. I know they will enjoy them.
Did you make these Italian Nachos? I’d love to see your creations on Instagram! Make sure to tag your post with #azbrecipes or #azestybiterecipes, so I’ll be sure to see them. Enjoy! You might also want to check out these tiny Nachos Bites.

Gorgeous game day food!
The Macaroni Grill restaurant used to have Italian Nachos made with fried lasagna noodles as the chips. So good. Not on the menu anymore, but the right waitress will get it made. I think your recipe is the next best thing!
Seriously loving the idea of alfredo sauce for nachos…these look fantastic!!
This Italian gal is going nuts for these!!!!
I’ve been craving nachos like crazy lately, and I love this Italian twist on them. Anything with pepperoni AND pepperocini is A-OK in my book! 🙂
What a great. Idea to change up nachos!
What a super genius twist on nachos! Pinning this to make ASAP!
Well, this is fun!! My friends and I have a nacho club. Whenever we go out to dinner, we always HAVE to order nachos. I must say I’ve never seen Italian Nachos any where. I’ll have to make these for my friends the next time they come over!
LOAD ME UP!!! This is simply brilliant!
Yum-o! I have never thought to fry egg roll wrappers instead of chips (or lasagna pieces as a commenter mentioned) – definitely going to have to try both now! 🙂
Love these! So unique and hello, who doesn’t love nachos! 🙂
If only I could reach through the screen! These look amazing, girl!!
Thanks for the interesting recipe! I will definitely try. Number one on the list, and the second one was advised by a friend from bazoocam to make cheese soup. A very unusual recipe.
LOVED!!! But I only drizzled the Alfredo sauce over, ditched the pepperonis and used traditional corn tortilla chips, hey, my family are traditionalists when it comes to nachos but it was good, lots of compliments and a smacking clean pan!!! Oh, I sprinkled fresh basil from my garden in top. Thank you!
