No-Bake Chocolate Cookies are easy to make with only 5 ingredients! These cookies have a full, sweet chocolate flavor that comes from cocoa powder, peanut butter, and honey.
No Bake Chocolate Cookies are an old childhood favorite of mine. I remember sitting around the table at my grandmother’s house, while she would show me how to make them. These cookies are ready in only 10 minutes on your stovetop and then you can let them cool in the fridge or freezer. They’re the perfect treat when you’re craving something sweet but want a healthier alternative.
Now let’s get to the actual cookie recipe.
Popular Substitutions & Additions
Maple syrup: Swap out your honey for maple syrup in this recipe. This is also a great alternative to make these cookies completely vegan.
Shredded coconut: If you love coconut, make these cookies with ¼ cup shredded unsweetened coconut.
Nut butter: Substitute your favorite nut butter for peanut butter in this recipe and it will still taste amazing.

No Bake Chocolate Cookies
No-bake chocolate cookies are easy to make with only 5 ingredients and tastes delicious. These cookies have a full, sweet chocolate flavor that comes from cocoa powder, peanut butter, and honey.
Ingredients
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, heat together the peanut butter, honey, and coconut oil. Stir continuously and heat until fully melted and combined.
- Stir in the cocoa powder.
- Stir in the quick-cooking oats.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Drop 1 tablespoon portions of the cookie mix onto the baking pan.
- Let the cookies set until hardened in the freezer or fridge. The cookies will harden as they cool.
- Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
