I know its the end of the summer but Shaun and I are so pumped about our first grill ever. After about 3 grueling hours Shaun finally got the grill put together. *Recommendation get one put together before you bring it home* After that we went to the grocery store and got some fresh shrimp. Well when I got home I decided to use some of the ingredients that we already had in the refrigerator. Take my word for it, cheese and shrimp go well together. (Shaun asked where the bacon was?) ENJOY!
Ingredients:
1 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined (most grocery stores will either have some available or you can request it)
1 lemon
1 Tbsp parsley
1/4 tsp salt
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preparation:
In large size bowl add the shrimp, juice from lemon, parsley, salt, and garlic
Stir the mixture and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes
Heat the grill so that the temperature is at 350 degrees
Remove shrimp from refrigerator and add a little of the mozzarella in between the groove of the shrimp where the vein was
Prepare all the shrimp and take to grill
Lay out a sheet of foil and lay out each shrimp
Cook 3-5 minutes on each side or until the shrimp turns light pink
the way these shrimps are scattered all around makes me miserably hungry at the dead of the night here in Hong Kong. Thumbs up for this beautiful recipe!
