Yes! I’m so weird with my dressings too. My favorite is the one stuffing recipe that gets made every single year. This year I branched out and made a few new recipes (for the blog) that were delicious but still not as comforting as the old family favorite.

  2. I love conrbread stuffing! This looks perfect!

  3. Dressing (stuffing) is my favorite dish at Thanksgiving. This one looks fantastic!!

  6. I am right there with ya…stuffing has to be a certain kind for me to devour. No boxed mix. Ever. Love the addition of chicken to this…screw making this just for the holidays! This is straight comfort.

  7. I am so happy you busted out a T-giving recipe!! Bring on the food, especially if cornbread is involved.

  8. I’m super picky about my dressings too! It wasn’t until my husband and I got together and tried HIS family’s recipe that I fell in love with it 🙂

  9. We have a cornbread dressing that is a family tradition for Thanksgiving! Love this one!

  10. I realize I don’t have a nice dressing casserole recipe. I love it. What a great change of pace.

  11. I have such high stuffing (that’s what my family calls it) standards too, and I absolutely love using cornbread. I’m not familiar withadding hard-boiled eggs, but I totally trust you. Looks amazing!

  12. I love dressing/stuffing SO much, and you just got my excitement for Thanksgiving kicked into super high gear. I don’t think I’ll be able to wait that long to try this recipe, though! 🙂

  13. Love family traditions! We have a dressing recipe that’s been in our family for generations, and it’s something that is MANDATORY for my on Thanksgiving. I love seeing everyone else’s classic family recipes, and yours looks ahhhh so so good.

Why isn’t sage listed? I’ve never heard of a southern cornbread dressing without sage.

Lovely dish. I make something similar by adding 1/2″ slices of chorizo sausage and use olive oil in place of butter to turn it into Spanish lemon chicken. Try adding peppers, carrots or whatever takes your fancy. Yummy…. We are also offering online meat delivery Services. please visit: https://www.beckandbulow.com
