Start the night off with this wonderful drink, an Apple Cider Moscow Mule. It’s perfect for a holiday party, Christmas at home or something to sip on while sitting by the fire.
It’s that time of year when people are busy planning for Christmas vacations, checking items off their shopping list or prepping for a holiday party. This year we are leaving town for a few days to spend some much-needed quality time at the JW Marriott in San Antonio, TX. That means no planning for Santa, no holiday gatherings to run around for, but I do need to figure out how Santa is delivering presents while staying in a hotel room. Presents and stocking gifts will need to be handed out while having all kids in the same room.
ANY IDEAS ARE WELCOME.
It wouldn’t be a complete Christmas season without a NEW beverage for your guests. I’ve done these Pomegranate Moscow Mules and also this Chocolate Marshmallow Rumchata shot. This year I’m incorporating apple cider into my drink to make an Apple Cider Moscow Mule. We love warm apple cider in the winter time and Shaun and I actually prefer it over hot cocoa any day. You can pour the kids a glass of apple cider while you make these drinks for you or guests. To add a little flare, top it with Honeycrisp apple slices and a cinnamon stick to complete the festive look.
Combine the first three ingredients into a shaker. Pour into 2 copper mugs filled with ice and top with an apple slick and cinnamon stick.
