Every night for dinner I sit down to eat and there is someone with me. I am not alone. His name is Shaun, my rock, my soulmate, my husband, my best friend, my sous chef, my proofreader and a terrific father.
Amanda the person behind I Am Baker decided to dedicate a day to our spouses. I immediately wanted to jump on board because Shaun helps me out so much with my website. Not to mention handles all my receipts and payments. One less thing for me to deal with when I get home. Out of all my posts he has proofread almost 95% percent of them. Even when he is tired or exhausted from a long day at work he still checks them out. When I make a dish or new recipe he is always letting me know how I can change it up or lets me know it is perfect.
Occasionally he will write and make a recipe for me to share with all of my readers from him. He does the writing, proofreading and cooking while I take the photos. I asked him what his MOST FAVORITE recipe of his was and it is Crack n Cheese. That is also one of the most popular posts that I have ever had on this blog. He definitely likes to take the credit for those views.
What is your significant others favorite blog called?
(Laughed) At first I would say Pioneer Woman when you first started out, but now I would say I have no idea. You look at so many blogs.
What is their favorite prop?
Your marble slab from Sur La Table but you have a bunch so I dont know.
What is the weirdest thing you have seen your spouse do for a blog post?
We were trying to check into a hotel and my arms were loaded with luggage and a baby and I wasn’t allowed to unload until pictures were taken.
If you could have your own blog what would you call it?
Got a big smile on his face. “Jack of All Trades but a Master of None”
What do you do for a living and what are your hobbies?
I’m a loan officer for a community bank. My hobbies… hunting, watching Aggie football, “professional taste tester and master editor”.
Thanks for letting me share today the LOVE I have for the guy across the table.

Anything to get a picture, right? Maybe I need to get my husband on board as a proofreader. Every once in awhile I will get an email while he is at work “flower should be flour” And I have to figure out what post he is talking about and make a correction. Great post!
LOL @ the hotel bit!!! Oh my gosh… belly laughs for sure! Very sweet, Meagan!
