Teriyaki Chicken

If you don’t have a crock pot I highly recommend that you quit reading this post and go get one now!
The best thing is throwing stuff in a pot and then returning 6-8 hours with a meal and a house that smells divine.
You may laugh at what I’m about to disclose to you about how I use to make teriyaki chicken. I would get the chicken and then marinade it in teriyaki sauce for about 30 minutes then cook it and voila. Now this was the teriyaki sauce that came in the bottle from the grocery store. Little did I know that there is a much better way to have teriyaki chicken. This chicken even fell apart when trying to get it out of the crock pot. How can you not love that?!?

Teriyaki Chicken
Ingredients
- 6-8 chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
Instructions
Add chicken to crock pot
In small bowl add the rest of the ingredients and stir
Pour over the chicken and add lid
Cook on high for 1 hour
Cook on low 6 hours
Serve over rice
