I’m afraid to admit that I am a reality TV junkie. I absolutely love the Bachelor, the Kardashians, Biggest Loser, Top Chef, and anything having to do with the Real Housewives of wherever. My excuse is that I like to get all the drama from the TV shows and not have it in real life. Does that even work?? I seem to thank so or at least that’s what I’m going to keep saying.
Well, this past weekend The Kardashian Wedding Show aired and I was able to watch the whole thing without Shaun being around telling me he doesn’t want to watch this. On the first part of the show Kourtney was eating Kale Chips and was trying to get her brother to try them.
My first reaction was “what the heck is a kale chip” and maybe I should try them. I’m a potato chip kind of girl, so how are people replacing kale chips with potatoes. Something must be going on here, so I set out to make these chips. They are actually quite addicting; you just have to get past the look of the kale chip. ENJOY!
Ingredients:
1 bunch of kale
1 Tbsp olive oil
sea salt
Parmesan cheese, shredded
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Remove stems from kale leaf
Place leaves into a medium size bowl and pour in olive oil
Toss until all leaves are coated
Lay out on silicone mat that’s in a baking pan
Sprinkle salt lightly on kale leaves along with Parmesan cheese
