Everyone enjoys a good Shower Punch and I turned my version into Shower Punch Ice Pops.
This past weekend I was a hostess for one of my good friends at her 2nd baby shower. However, it was called a “sprinkle” instead of a shower since she didn’t need as many gifts since it was baby #2. This was my first time to even hear about this kind of baby shower but I definitely agree with not needing as many gifts as the first child.
We had the usual food and beverage items like cheese dip, fruit, cupcakes and of course the usual shower punch. Being pregnant I now can try a certain food or beverage and it can stick with me for days or weeks. Leaving that “sprinkle” made me have a strong craving for shower punch and having a craving like that means it must be made.
Like soon…
After getting home I decided to switch up the recipe a bit by making these Shower Punch Ice Pops. It’s basically combining all of the same flavors but in a popsicle form. In my opinion this recipe is a win-win because any leftover shower punch can go in a drinking glass for you to finish off at a later time or right away.
These shower punch ice pops froze really well and the fruit looked gorgeous in full form. My kiddos enjoyed these ice pops and beg for them every afternoon.
