POPPERS!
That’s what we call them in my family. I have heard so many names for these babies.
The first jalapeño popper that I ever had was about 10 years ago in my hometown Brady, TX. My dad went to the local meat market and came home with them. At first I was a little weary because I am not a huge fan of cream cheese.
But to my dismay I fell in love!
Do you have a problem eating just one or two because I can’t quit inhaling them and then I’m stuffed when it’s dinner time.
I think I have officially decided that these should probably be a main course……what do you think?
Ingredients:
5 jalapeños
2/3 cup cream cheese
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp fajita seasoning
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
10 slices bacon
Preparation:
Cut the jalapeños in half and then with a grapefruit spoon scrape out the seeds and veins
In small bowl stir together cream cheese, onion powder, seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce
Then scoop up about a Tbsp size into the jalapeño and spread it out
When all jalapeños are filled; wrap one slice of bacon around each jalapeño and pin with a toothpick
Place the poppers on a greased grill on medium heat for about 15 minutes or until bacon is browned
Flipping if you need to so that the other side gets brown
Awesome! Its really awessome article, I have got much clear
