Let me start from the beginning now. A couple months back Shaun and I had a discussion about me attending 2-3 conferences this year. I remember sitting at home this time last year looking at all the photos from food blog forum thinking I am going to this conference next year. When the tickets went on sale I just happened to be at work and decided to sign up right away. You could say I was being over zealous but looking at it now I was pretty darn smart. Food Blog Forum sold out litereally in just minutes. Twitter went up in havoc with people being waitlisted for this conference, but I was too happy because I had my solo ticket.

A week ago I was on a plane headed to Orlando, Florida by myself to attend The Food Blog Forum Conference. I was anxious, nervous and so excited about meeting food bloggers who I have been following for years. It’s also one of those things that you don’t want to come off stalkerish to a person you are just meeting but you really do know so much about them just by reading their blog everyday.

The conference is put on by  Jaden and Scott, Diane and Todd, Julie and Lindsay and all the wonderful people behind the scenes at Disney. All of these fabulous bloggers put in so much time and effort to make my first conference a great experience. We had great sessions and I can’t wait to start implementing what I learned here on this blog. I did take away the importance of videos and I did my first one for this recap.

I will definitely be returning next year for Food Blog Forum 2014 that is if it doesn’t sell out in like 2 minutes.
