  1. This sounds intriguing! I love my veggies, so I really need to give this a try!

  2. How interesting is that! I would be so intrigued to try a So. African restaurant. I’m going to bookmark the restaurant and hope that I can talk to “rest” into going…

  3. I’ve never heard of something like this before. So unique! What a creative Thanksgiving Day appetizer perhaps? Yummyyyy

  4. Ahhhh date night.. How I miss thee… 😉
This sounds so good… have never heard of it, but would love to give it a taste!

Haha, I found your website while looking for recipes for carrot bredie after trying it at Peli Peli in Vintage Park! What a small world!

Also, the Peli Peli version has leeks, if you’re still curious about the other ingredients you’re missing.

Thanks Rachel that is good to know. I will have to add leeks to it next time. I really miss peli peli since we moved away from Tomball.

Haha, same here! Just tried Peli Peli for the first time last weekend and I really want to try to make this at home!

Hi, if you want to try something really amazing try adding about half of a yellow or white onion in there.
I am South African and this it how I make mine but I use regular water instead of broth and no cilantro. Will definitely try using the broth next time.

Great recipe. I added one sautĂ©ed leek per a comment and my husband loved it. I love the carrot bredie in the bobotie at Peli Peli / Chef’s Table.

Now I need a recipe for their prawn bisque!

This smoothie looks quite strange, you can play basket random and enjoy the taste in a relaxing way.

  10. Your articles have helped me to learn a lot of interesting information on this topic and they are important material from which I can come up with many good ideas.

Good food recipe! Recently played on a cool gaming site after a delicious meal. Rabona Casino https://rabonacasinos.net/ offers a full range of gambling games including slot machines, video bingo, scratch cards, roulette, blackjack and live casino. Its main sections in the top menu are as follows: Slots, Live Roulette and Casino.

In this casino you can find a huge selection of slot machines, hundreds of different slots on any theme and from different software providers. You can filter them by the following parameters: “New”, ‘Jackpots’ and ‘Megaways’.

  12. Bitlife says:

Carrot Bredie seems to be a unique take on the traditional South African bredie, which is usually a slow-cooked stew. Your version, blending carrots and potatoes with cilantro and chicken broth, sounds smooth and flavorful.
