  2. It’s definitely so easy these days to get distracted by those types of things! I find that I’m the same way. At least there is delicious chicken to help! This looks fantastic. I am totally adding it to our menu next week.

  3. Girl, you are the queen of creative chicken dishes! I want to be like you one day 😉 I LOVE that you crusted these in pita! Pinned!

  4. AMEN lady. Such a great reflection. It’s so hard to disconnect and focus on those immediately around us. Glad that I read this before my fam comes to visit this weekend!

  5. Danielle says:

These look like such a great healthy meal! I love the idea of getting great flavor and crunch from Pita chips, I would have never thought of that!

  6. Well now that’s a smart way to use pita chips! I linked to a post in today’s Friday Faves that talked about your same predicament, and when to just say, enough is enough. We all have a lot of the same troubles of deciding when to check in and when to just check out.

  7. Great use of pita chips friend! You are so smart. And ditto what Heidi said. It will always be a constant struggle for balance!

  8. Those chicken pita look so good!

I know, I get distracted a lot. My boyfriend has an internet business and he’s horrible. I do understand it though. But we both try to get better at focusing on things… 🙂

  9. Soooo clever! I love Stacy’s. It was so nice meeting you at Blog Her Food!

  10. Your photography is stunning!! I’m hungry looking at this chicken!!!

  11. Love this recipe! Saved for a summer evening:) Have a great holiday weekend!

  12. I love that you’re trying to put aside the distractions and spend time with your family! I also LOVE this recipe-so creative and so simple at the same time! YUM!

  13. Quick and yummy chicken recipe. I love tenders, because both adults and kids love them. In other words I can not go wrong when I serve those. Yay, score one for the home team. You know it is awesome that you are realizing how much of your life is taken up with the ‘non-living’, the other dimension. We are in new territory here. Think what it is like for Olivia—totally immersion right from the beginning. As her Mom you have to figure out a balance with your own life, so that you can teach that to your children. What and how still has to be tested. It’s a big task. Again many pats on your back for being able to step back and see the big picture.

  14. There are days when I feel like the queen of distraction! But you’re right, turning off all social media for a day or two and just focusing on family and friends is so rewarding.

I love the idea of coating chicken in pita chips!

  15. So creative! I love this idea.
