We just got home from a wonderful three day weekend to a friends house outside of San Antonio. The drive home on Monday was quite nerve-wrenching because we were driving thru towns with tornado warnings and trying to miss golfball size hail. When we arrived back home we basically had a large pond across from our house. We received so much rain but I am so thankful for every drop that God gave us.
Not only did I dodge tornados on the drive but I was also battling motion sickness. Within the last two weeks anytime I get in the back seat of the vehicle I immediately start to feel nauseous. This uneasiness did not stop when I exited the car rather it stayed with me on into Tuesday. All I wanted to do was sleep and I just kept telling my husband that I felt really sick. Olivia went down for a 2 hour nap and that is my usual time to whip up recipes or answer emails for the day. As soon as she went down I went down for the count as well. I’m definitely feeling better and I’m hoping that it was just a little bug.
Dinner was approaching and I’ve been wanting to make these baked corn dogs for a while. It was going to be easy and fun for our whole family. When you are not feeling good but still trying to feed your family, quick meals are in for the win.

Did you make this recipe?
I kinda have a thing for corn dogs. Love that these are baked.
YUM, I love corn dogs! And baked corn dogs seem even better, can’t wait to try them! 🙂
I love easy!! These look like the perfect quick meal 🙂
I think I have to make these for my husband. Our joke is that when I first met him, he had about 3 things in his fridge and freezer and one was frozen corn dogs. These look like the best alternative 🙂
My boys LOVE corn dogs and this is such a great way to make them!
I like your stuffed wieners. WAIT. That’s not right. 🙂
Yum – this is total comfort food! I want these for dinner tonight, and I didn’t even drive through tornados, hail, and battle motion sickness – I’m just tired, haha!
So cute! I love that these are on sticks!!
Looks great – something kids and grownups will both love! Pinned!
