I have slacked big time on my updates about our pea pot, chunky monkey, little miss priss, munchkin, Livi and the names we have for her can go on and on.
Last week she started daycare and it has been an adjustment for us all. There have been days when I think I can’t do this anymore and then I see how happy she is to see her teachers faces when we arrive. The biggest adjustment for me is giving major slack in the schedule that I had her on previously.
What’s Olivia Up To:
Loves to sleep on her side
She enjoys when we lay beside her and read to her
Loves Bubba (our Boston terrier)
Ironically she likes it when we change her diapers
Her new thing is to stick her tongue out and blow bubbles
She likes to sit up instead of being cradled
Likes to play and chew on her new giraffe
Loves her Mr. Turtle
Enjoys laying on heated blanket after baths
Likes to climb up her dad’s stomach
She has been sleeping through the night since 7 weeks! We put her to bed around 8:45 and we wake her up at 6:40 the next morning. It has been a huge blessing for us to get a full night of rest. Now if I could just get her to take a nap for longer than 30 minutes.
That seems to be the way of it-babies who sleep through the night don’t like long naps, that’s how I was 😛
AND OH EM GEE! Tell her to stop being so gosh darn adorable! ahhhh I can’t stand dat lil tub face-what a potato! (Michael and I call adorable babies potatoes, this is a compliment, just so you know why I’m calling your daughter a vegetable) 😛
I think you just came up with a new nickname “potato.” She definitely has some chubby cheeks.
chubby baby cheeks are the best things in the world 😀
SOOOO CUTE! I love her smiles!
You are lucky that she sleeps through the night… so, so lucky.
I haven’t had such luck!
Thanks Kate! I worked pretty hard to get her to sleep through the night. I know that our next kid just might not be so lucky.
How adorable! She has such a gorgeous smile and eyes that twinkle merrily!
Thanks Sarah!
She is a treasure – what a blessing!
Omg, she is so sweet!
Thanks Stephanie!
