Is it cocktail time? Of course, it is. Let’s break out the grill for this refreshing Grilled Grapefruit Cocktail made with Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer.

Is it just me, or are you trying to find ways to cool off from the brutal heat that the summer months bring? You know those $10 plastic pools that are great for babies, toddlers or pets? Well, I’m about to make them cool for this 33-year-old, so I have something to look forward to when I get home.
Grilling usually adds a new level of heat and if you aren’t fighting to get into the AC, you risk the food being overcooked. While you have the grill heating up, add some fruit to the grill and then make a cocktail while the rest of your food cooks. To make this refreshing grilled grapefruit cocktail you will need Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer, ginger ale, rum, mint and grilled grapefruit slices. Grilled Grapefruit Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces of rum
- 1 cup Ginger Ale
- 3-4 mint leaves
- ice
Instructions
In a shaker combine beer, rum, and ginger ale. Pour over ice and top with grilled grapefruit and mint.
