This simple Chicken Burrata Sourdough Pizza recipe is easy to put together with just a handful of ingredients and takes less than 20 minutes.

For this recipe, I was able to use the Signature SELECT Sourdough Bread that comes fresh from the bakery section. Not only can you use it for pizza, but you can slice up the bread for your next sandwich. I also HIGHLY recommend the Signature SELECT baguettes from the bakery. Those don’t last long, especially when we make a charcuterie board at home.
The chicken used for this pizza is a Signature Cafe whole roasted rotisserie chicken. They come in many different varieties, but this one had no additional flavorings. We use these rotisserie chickens for an easy meal at home when neither one of us wants to cook or if I’m making one of my many casseroles that call for chicken.
I’ve included some helpful tips and additions below to help make this pizza even better!
Tips for The Recipe
- Grill: Feel free to make this pizza recipe by using the grill if you have one.
- Oven Rack: For a crunchy crust, place the pizza directly on the oven rack instead of a baking sheet.
Additions to the Recipe
- Mozzarella: If burrata cheese is not your thing, then substitute it with shredded mozzarella cheese or mozzarella slices.
- Vegetables: Add your FAVORITE pizza toppings to this recipe.
- Honey: Drizzle honey over the top for a bit of sweetness.

Chicken Burrata Sourdough Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 sourdough loaf, cut in half
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 5 ounces chopped rotisserie chicken, skin removed
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 - 2 burrata balls
- ½ cup spinach
- Salt and pepper
- Optional: red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 525 degrees °F.
- In a bowl combine olive oil and garlic. Using a brush spread the olive oil and garlic mixture over the top side of each loaf. *Reserve the extra oil for later.
- Top with chicken and mushrooms.
- Bake directly on the middle rack for 6 minutes.
- Remove and immediately top with pulled burrata and spinach.
- Season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.
- Drizzle with some of the remaining olive oil.
