5 Year Blogiversary

Five years ago I sat in my apartment in Houston staring at the screen waiting to hit publish on A Zesty Bite. I had just bought the domain in previous hours and was anxious and nervous about the first post going LIVE. Of course back then I only expected family and friends to follow along in the journey and never expected readers from all over the world.
I’ve been blown away by the lovely comments and emails that I receive on a weekly basis. These really mean so much when you let me know that you’ve made the recipe and you and your family enjoyed it very much.
I appreciate all of you following along with my dating story, marriage to Shaun, our first baby, taking my nephew in to live with us and now our newest arrival due in November. I love that I can express what’s going on in our daily lives through recipes and countless ramblings through the site.
Today I’m making a toast to the next 5 years and I hope you continue on this cooking journey with me.
