It’s been just a couple of days since the Super Bowl and you have people talking about the Beyonce bounce, Coldplay, the Bronco’s winning, Peyton’s possible retirement and of course the commercials. I had a couple of favorites that include the Super Bowl babies, the wiener dogs and the Doritos baby commercial.
Now that it’s over its time to talk about the food. Today I’ve teamed up with H-E-B to give you a list of my TOP 10 H-E-B products that were a perfect pairings for the Super Bowl game. These products make me a #truetexan.
Let’s get started shall we?
That Green Sauce – Yes, it is really called that and now I believe it should have no other name. It is the best green sauce around and is perfect for fajitas or breakfast tacos. You need it in your life and if you don’t you can always send me a jar or two.
Tortillas – Maybe by now you are catching on the Mexican themed party for game day. Tortillas are a must for fajitas.
Hatch Green Chile Chips – These are basically self-explanatory. They are the hottest chips around and you’ll become hooked if you love green chilies.
Beef Fajita Meat – I’m a sucker for good beef when it comes to my fajitas. You could even skip the tortillas and just make nachos.
On The Border Chips – These are restaurant styled chips and it’s always good to have multiple chip brands on the table.
Kylito Salsa – I can’t get enough salsa and this is one of my favorites from H-E-B.
Shiner Light Blonde – This beer is awesome. It’s also a Texas made beer and it’s perfect for any party.
Queso – When you live in Texas queso is a part of the food pyramid along with salsa and chips.
Trail Mix – It’s a spicy trail mix just for adults. My kids will eat it but it does have a little kick to it.
Avocado – This fruit is great alone or mashed up for the ultimate guacamole recipe.
The good news is that if you don’t live near an H-E-B store you can still get products shipped from the store. YES, that is right!! H-E-B now ships so no excuses.
ENJOY ~ Meagan
