I am a TOTAL sucker for having things shipped to our house instead of running errands to buy things. If I could get our groceries delivered to us as well I would sign up. I’ve signed up for Birchbox, Bag Borrow or Steal, Naturebox and now Stitch Fix. I quit doing birch box because I felt like the samples were getting worse each delivery instead of better. I would like one thing out of all the samples. Well on to new and exciting things…. Stitch fix.
Stitch fix is a delivery program that is tailored to your own personal style. You pay $20.00 to be set up with a personal stylist on their site. After signing up you fill out a lengthy questionnaire regarding sizes and types of clothes you like and don’t like. The form even has a place to fill out how much money you are willing to spend on each individual item. Ex. I would spend more money on clothes than I would jewelry. There is even a place where you can link a pinterest board of style options. Stitch fix will even show you several pictures of clothing and jewelery options and you rate it on if you love it, like it, or basically forget about it.
This past week I received my first Stitch fix box in the mail. Every box that you receive has 5 options to choose from and they can be clothing, accessories and jewelry. Once you receive your box you have 3 business days to try on everything and decide if you like it or not. If you like it then they will bill you for the cost of that item. If there is an item you don’t like you simply place it in the return shipping bag that is sent to you and drop it off at your local USPS. When you log in to your account after receiving the box there is another form asking details about each item.
Is it to big? Is it to small? Too expensive? Too Low? Just Right? Love it? Hate it? How was the cut?
They ask you these questions so that your personal stylists knows where you stand on future looks and prices.
The pictures below are my 5 items that I received in my box. Each item also comes with a picture card that displays different looks of that particular item.
Question everyone has for me ~ Do I think it is worth it and would I do it again?
Yes, I will continue to use Stitch fix for the time being. I like knowing that I get the shipments at home and that I can try them on with things in my closet to see if it will be something that I want. Sometimes we aren’t inclined to try things on at the store and when we are made to we realize that they actually look good on us. I can’t wait to see what I get this month based upon my thoughts from this months box.
Disclosure Policy: I am in no way affiliated with Stitch Fix. I was not paid to write this review and I purchased the items with my own money. Referral Link included.
So cool! I am all about having things shipped right to the door! Amazon is one of my favorite stores! HA!
Amazon Prime is like my best friend! I buy all of Olivia’s diapers and wipes from the mom part.
Awesome, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I really like that blazer! I’m def going to give Stitch Fix a try once I’m able to wear non-maternity clothing.
I’m still rocking my maternity jeans. Oops…
I’ve been considering Stitch Fix for some time now, but just can’t decide if I want to take the plunge. I want to know what you kept in your box! 🙂
Hey! I’m going to keep the green shirt and possibly the blazer. The other blouse I loved and it fix great but is just a little to see-through for my taste even with a shirt underneath.
I’ve been reading a lot about subscription services lately, and Stitch Fix really stands out for its personalized styling options. It’s always a bit of a gamble with deliveries—will the clothes fit? Will they be on time? These things matter, especially when you’re relying on a service that promises convenience. On that note, I’ve had some great experiences with hale groves for delivery services. Their deliveries were timely, and the quality of the products exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a reliable service, it’s always worth checking the reviews before committing!
