Share these easy homemade Raspberry Chocolate Waffles with your loved ones this Valentine’s Day.
The holiday for LOVE is right around the corner. I never realized how close it comes to the Super Bowl. It’s like we give guys that “one day” for food, beer, football and funny commercials and then we are showered back with Love on Valentine’s Day just a couple weeks later. Now I do love the Super Bowl but mainly for the food and commercials. The tight pants are not a bad thing either.
These Raspberry Chocolate Waffles are perfect for any loved one on Valentine’s Day or any morning breakfast. My kids and husband tested these out and absolutely fell in love with them and loved that they added a little something different to your regular homemade waffle batter.
I topped them off with a little extra cocoa powder and some powdered sugar to complete the breakfast. By all means you can leave both off if you think it is too much for kids.
You can even check out this SHORT video I made for these Raspberry Chocolate Waffles on Youtube. It’s a great way for you to see me in action in the kitchen.
In a bowl combine the flour, sugar and baking powder. In a separate bowl combine butter, eggs and milk. Add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture and whisk until everything is well combined.
Separate the batter into two different bowls. Pour cocoa powder in one and raspberries in the other. Mix the batters and then pour 1/3 cup of each one into a waffle iron.
Repeat until all waffle batter has been used.

What I wouldn’t do for these right this second as I’m about to dig into my oatmeal 🙂 These would be a much better way to start the day!
