Ingredients:
2 Cups Masa Harina
1 1/3 cup of warm tap water
1/2 tsp salt
Preparation:
In large mixing bowl combine all ingredients and start to fold in the ingredients
Keep kneading until it forms into a ball
Heat griddle on low-medium heat
Form one small ball from the mixture at a time
Cover the whole mixture with saran wrap while making the balls so that the dough doesn’t dry out
Place the ball between two pieces of wax paper and roll out with a rolling pin
Place on griddle and cook 30 sec flip and cook for another 60 sec
Keep warm in clean towel
These have GOT to be 1000 times better than the “store bought” kind. Thanks!
awesome! I’ve always wanted to try to make my own tortillas – totally going to give these a try – thanks!
I had no idea these were so easy – and they look so good!
I’m curious as to whether you were able to get them as thin as the store-bought or restaurant versions…?
