Ingredients:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine the first five ingredients into a bowl and set aside
In another large bowl combine the following ingredients and mix well with hand held blender
Slowly add the dry ingredients and pour into a greased 8X8 baking pan
Bake for 18 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
Let it cool and then top with icing (lightly drizzle with icing)
Icing Recipe
1 1/2 tsp butter
1 1/2 tsp light corn syrup
2 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp cocoa
Preparation:
In bowl add butter, syrup, milk and vanilla and warm up in microwave for about 15 seconds
Stir in sugar and cocoa and pour on top of brownies and cool
For faster cooling time place in refrigerator
