  1. I love stuffed chicken breasts and the simple ingredients. Definitely a perfect family dinner. Pinning now!

  2. Nicole says:

This looks really lite and tasty. I think I might have to put this on my dinner menu list.

  3. I have some friends with a chicken coop and they are *thisclose* to talking me into it! If my husband was all for it, we’d already have one. Our backyard size isn’t ideal for one and we live in a pretty urban area. We’ll see…maybe next year! Love this dinner idea…you can’t go wrong with cheese! 🙂

  4. Um, I want this for dinner. And pretty styling, friend!!

  5. Aggie says:

Stuffed chicken like this is always such a treat. This looks delicious!

  6. Yummy! I have a big (4300 sq ft), old (106 yrs) house on 2 1/2 acres. The kitchen is something like 600 sq feet. I have both a chicken coop and a goat barn because I used to have both. It’s great but it got to be too much for me. If you ever want to live near Dallas let me know. 😉

  7. I now know what I’m going to do with the chicken that’s sitting in my fridge! This looks so good!

  8. Amanda Paa says:

i feel your want for more space – i’m in the same situation. glad i’ve got a new way to make chicken now!

  9. I love cooking in a cast iron skillet. That crispy skin on your chicken is making me swoon!

  10. Fixer upper homes are great as long as you don’t have to live in them during the renovation. My husband and I had that experience with our first home, hello stress! This chicken looks so crispy and flavorful, I love stuffed chicken!

  11. I love HGTV and the fixer upper shoes. I totally want to have a house done by them as well. If I was on my own though, it would stay forever a fixer upper 🙂
Love this chicken. I love when a chicken dinner comes together, and has everything all in one dish!

  12. I have always thought that it would be so cool to go on one of those reality TV fixer-upper shows! Mostly because I do have a beautiful house at the end. Love the cheesy surprise you’ve got going on with this chicken!

  13. Christiane says:

I have a coop. We’re between chickens at the moment because hawks killed our last bunch of girls. I’d say that’s the con. Predators are brutal. That’s the only con though. The eggs are phenomenal and going on vacation is no big deal because everyone wants to help out so they can get free fresh eggs. It’s way worth it.

  14. Shaina says:

I love how crisp the skin looks!

  15. Kim+Beaulieu says:

This is just fabulous. I adore stuffed chicken, this one is sheer perfection.

  16. Monet says:

  17. I love watching HGTV!!! the only thing is. . it just makes me wish I could do a little reno in my own home. . haven’t seen Fixer Upper yet but will look for it. I’m currently obsessed with Property Brothers! LOVE this stuffed chicken. . one of my fave ways to make chicken. . pinned!!!

Ahhh miss you too! Glad you are still checking on the blog and especially cooking from it. Mom is good and just spent a week with me while my dad hunted.

I have chickens and we do eat them but the chickens run around in our pastures and the meat isn’t like storebought…its very very dark…like brown legs n thighs and its not as tender and its hard to kill them after raising them from eggs but the taste is good. They draw flies also and need a very secure aviary to roost in . lots of pros tho …friendly pets, eat all kitchen scraps and leftovers, great eggs, and safe meat.
