Now that Halloween is over we can all set our minds to the overeating and stretchy pants of Thanksgiving and Christmas. In fact I’m bypassing pumpkin for now and moving straight towards Christmas flavors. I think some of you are with me because I asked the other day for Pumpkin Spice or Sugar Cookies and most went with Sugar Cookies. Maybe its because you’ve been seeing Pumpkin flavors for the past couple of months and are ready to move on like I am.
I’ve been dreaming about a Frosted Sugar Cookie Ice Cream for a while and decided why not break it out at the beginning of November. That gives you time to test it out and then make it again for your guests. Unless you just want to keep doing trial runs and never let them test it… I won’t judge.
This ice cream is so easy to make and just requires some of the basics for ice cream plus the addition of International Delight’s Frosted Sugar Cookie Cream to give it the ultimate sugar cookie taste. I may have added some green sugar crystals just to top it off like a sugar cookie.
I know you all value my opinion especially when it comes to ice cream and this pregnant girl definitely gives it two thumbs up. I might even go so far to say that it’s one of my favorite ice creams that I’ve made to date. Kids will also love it if you bake up some quick sugar cookies and serve it along with the ice cream. That’s only if you are ready to take on an eventual sugar rush but I highly recommend it.
