Cheddar Chive Biscuits

This last week has certainly been a whirlwind for the our family. On Tuesday morning we welcomed our first child into our family. The dogs might say they are our first children but that’s their opinion. I honestly thought I would have the week to get some last minute things in order before she arrived but God had a different plan. We are back at home and enjoying our time with our little blessing. There will be a post up this week with photos introducing her to my blogging friends and family. Most of you have already seen photos through Instagram.

We haven’t done much cooking since we got home Thursday afternoon. There were a couple of recipes that I have wanted to make and that I had planned on doing before she came. This weekend I decided to put some of them together and I had lots of help since my mom will be helping out for the next couple of weeks. I am super pumped because she and Shaun will be making fresh pasta this week to make my grandmothers chicken noodle soup. Nothing beats fresh noodles in a homemade soup bowl. Until then I decided to make some fresh homemade cheddar chive biscuits that will be going as the perfect companion to tomorrow’s post.

ENJOY!
